About farm4life
Charity Objectives

Farm4Life works predominantly in Ghana to provide relief from financial hardship and social and economic disadvantage. In addition to advancing the educational life of young people and adults, we work to provide opportunities for people to fully participate in the life of their community in ways which address and alleviate social and economic disadvantage.

WHO ARE WE?

Farm4Life was started by Lloyd and Karen Clewer in 2007. The vision for this strategic charity happened during Lloyd’s visit to Jamestown, Accra. Struck by the overwhelming distress that many people were living in Lloyd felt inspired to make a difference.

Supported by other trustees and friends, and in partnership with other organisations, both in the UK and Ghana, Farm4Life currently runs several projects in Ghana.

Here are some of the things we do
  • Employ local people in Ghana to run the Farm4life shop
  • Distribute wheelchairs and disability aids
  • Work with Ghana ICC to run sporting initiatives
  • Create new business opportunities
  • Send containers from the UK full of useful resources
  • Run a sponsorship program for school children
  • Operate a school (Kindergarten to junior)
  • Partner with the school for the blind
  • Outreach support service to rural communities
